JUNE 2023 – Bloemsec App
A client was not feeling well when he remembered that the Bloemsec App on his phone had a medical emergency function. As soon as he pressed the Medical Panic, he was called by Control Room Operator Tony Riggien. Immediately Bloemsec’s Armed response officers Heinrich Van Zyl, Phillip Mxosana and Rikus Slabbert responded to the premises.
The armed response officers didn’t waste any time as they assisted the client into his vehicle. His wife drove as they escorted them from Langehoven Park to the hospital, making sure the road had limited distractions. The client was assisted by the armed response officers until he was booked in. The client had a heart attack and because of the quick thinking and actions using the Bloemsec App, Medical Assistance, to the control room operator who knew exactly what to do, to the armed response officers, he is now safely home again.
